There are Door "Parts", Door "Types", and Door "Styles", not to be confused with a "Part" of the door called a "Stile."
There are 3 basic "Parts" to a Cabinet Door.

  • 1. A Rail    - The Horizontal Piece.
  • 2. A Stile   - The Verticle Piece.
  • 3. A Panel - The Center Piece.

The Door Types fall into 3 main catagories.

  • 1. A "Frameless" Cabinet Door.
  • 2. A "Framed" Cabinet Door.
  • 3. A "Specialty" Cabinet Door.

The Frameless doors are mounted to the sides or "end panels."   The Framed doors can be mounted in 4 ways. Full Overlay, 1/2" or 3/4" Overlay, Lipped, and Inset. The Specialty doors like "Tambor", (Sometimes called "Garage Doors"), have their own frame.

We have the equipment to do just about any door "style" that you would like.   There are many different "Styles" with many different variations of those basic   "Styles", or "Types."
